Women have unique health concerns. At each stage of life your body and health needs change. These are naturally occurring events that do not need to be treated with drugs. Women of any age can benefit from Acupuncture care in order to feel great and maintain optimum health.
Menstrual cycles: Many girls, in their early teen age years, are given birth control pills to help regulate something that has barely even begun to establish itself. Acupuncture can work with the body, help regulate menstrual cycles as they mature and stabilize, safely and without the use of chemicals.
Acupuncture can help with pain free periods, acne, bloating, cramps,
heavy flow, irregular periods,
stressful emotions and mood swings. The goal is to balance the body and
allow the body to regulate its own natural cycle.
Menopause is much the same. Why be chemically controlled as we exit our fertile years through HRT's, when all we need is to assist the body in balancing itself. Acupuncture can help treat menopause naturally and effectively. There is no need for drugs with their dangerous side effects which include the increased risk of cancers and heart problems. Acupuncture can help treat hot flashes, insomnia, dryness, depression and night sweats.
Infertility: It takes two people to create a baby and in Traditional Chinese Medicine, couples seeking help in getting pregnant are treated together.
Acupuncture provides a natural, non-invasive and drug-free alternative
that balance the body’s reproductive system so it can do what comes naturally.
Some patients need to have hormonal imbalances addressed and supported.
Others may have blockages in the blood and energy flow (Qi) to the reproductive
organs. This needs to be restored and balanced. Often, it is a combination
of both.
Women: The female must be capable of nourishing and sustaining an embryo through development. This is not possible if her body does not have the internal resources necessary. Acupuncture will help balance and restore her body to optimum health.
Males: Acupuncture can improve the male's sperm quality, quantity and
motility; all factors which can greatly improve a couple's chance to achieve
a natural pregnancy.
Infertility Treatment Package
Couples seeking treatment see an Acupuncturist for a minimum of 3 months; 2 times per week for both partners regardless of who has the “problem."
This 48 session package ( $3000.00) is paid in advance.
If pregnancy occurs before the end of the 3 month treatment package,
the balance will be returned to you.
If pregnancy has not occured by the time the 3 month treatment package is completed, we continue on a monthly basis at $50.00 per session.
Acupuncture treatments for Infertility are a lot less invasive and costly than In Vitro, and other Western Medicine options.
